Terms of Use
Version 2 · Last updated October 27, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the rules for using Blockyard (the website, games, Blockyard Studio and everything else on it, together the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Tix and Refund Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Blockyard.
1. Who can use Blockyard
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, and they should read these Terms with you. One person may not run accounts to get around a ban or to cheat the economy.
2. Your account
- Keep your password (and passkeys) private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Pick a username that follows the rules below. Moderators may reset usernames that break them.
- Paid username changes cost Tix. Your old usernames can be shown on your profile.
- Tell us through Support if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Community rules
Blockyard should be fun and safe for everyone. Do not:
- bully, harass, threaten or hate on anyone, or encourage anyone to hurt themselves;
- post sexual, violent, gory or otherwise inappropriate content, or ask for or offer dating or romance;
- ask for, share or collect personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, passwords, social media, school);
- scam, phish or trick players out of items or Tix, or promise things you won’t give;
- cheat, exploit bugs, use hacks, bots or automation, or try to break or overload the Service;
- pretend to be another player, a moderator, an administrator or Blockyard;
- spam, advertise outside services, or post links designed to harm people;
- upload anything you don’t have the rights to (see section 5).
Use Report Abuse to tell moderators about players, groups, items, games, sounds or wall posts that break these rules. In-game reports include the recent chat so moderators can check it.
4. Moderation
Administrators and Platform Moderators may review reports, chat included in reports, uploads, profiles, groups and games. They may remove content (it then shows as [CONTENT DELETED]), reset usernames, send warnings, kick players from games and suspend or ban accounts, for a time or permanently. Removed items can’t be worn or sold and are not refunded. If you think a decision was a mistake, contact Support. We may also shut the Service down for maintenance or updates, with or without notice.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you create (clothing, emblems, sounds, games, posts). By uploading or posting it, you give Blockyard a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, copy, adapt (for example to resize images or convert formats) and distribute it on the Service, and to let other players use it the way the Service allows (for example wearing clothing they buy, or downloading a game you mark as uncopylocked). This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies other players already legitimately own and backups kept for a limited time.
You promise that you own your content or have permission to upload it, and that it doesn’t break these Terms or anyone else’s rights. If you believe content on Blockyard infringes your copyright, send a notice through Support with the item link, proof that you own the work, and your contact details. We will remove infringing content and may ban repeat infringers.
Asset porting addendum · Version 1 · October 24, 2026
Before importing assets, you agree once for your Blockyard account that every model, script, mesh, image, decal, texture, sound and animation you import or upload is your own work or that you have permission to copy, convert and use it on Blockyard. A public listing or free download alone does not grant permission to redistribute content. If you mark an asset public, you must also have permission to let other Blockyard developers reuse it. This agreement applies to future imports and uploads, and Blockyard records your acceptance.
Optional Roblox authentication in desktop Studio is used to check your session and download assets directly from Roblox. The session cookie is encrypted on your computer and is not sent to Blockyard servers. Asset files you choose to import are uploaded to Blockyard. Alternate Roblox accounts are allowed, but the account must have access to the asset and you must still have permission to port it. You can disconnect and erase the local cookie at any time.
6. Blockyard’s content
The Blockyard name, logo, site design, code and our own games and items belong to Blockyard or its licensors. You may not copy, sell or reuse them outside the Service without permission, except for games their creators mark as uncopylocked.
7. Tix, items and memberships
Tix are a virtual currency for use inside Blockyard only. Tix, items, Limiteds, Builder’s Club memberships, private servers and group funds are a limited licence to use virtual content on the Service. They are not real money, have no cash value, can’t be sold or exchanged for money or anything outside Blockyard, and are not your property. We may change prices, rewards, stock and features, and fix mistakes (for example by removing Tix or items gained through a bug). See the Tix and Refund Policy.
Afterlight, the crates and upgrader arcade, is for accounts aged 13 and over. It is played with Tix only, it gives random items, the odds are shown on every crate, and the rules on the Afterlight page also apply. Results are final once they are saved.
8. Trading and markets
Trades and resale listings are final once accepted or bought. Only trade inside the Service. Trading or selling accounts, items or Tix for real money or outside goods is not allowed.
Market bots. Blockyard runs automated accounts (“market bots”) to keep the market active and prices steady. They are operated by Blockyard, not by players. Market bots may list, buy and trade Limiteds, may be given Tix by Blockyard, and follow rules we set, such as only accepting offers close to an item’s recent average price. Each market bot is marked as a bot on its profile, in resale listings and on leaderboards. You never have to trade with a bot, and a bot’s offer or price is not a promise of what an item is worth.
Prices and averages. Recent average prices (RAP), the Projected warning and price charts are estimates, not promises. We may correct them, set a starting price for an item, add starting price history to keep a price steady, and change how they are worked out, for example to protect the market from manipulation.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Blockyard at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or harm the Service or other players. If your account is closed, you lose access to its Tix and items.
10. The Service “as is”
Blockyard is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be online, error-free or that content or data will never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, Blockyard and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost virtual items or Tix, or anything caused by other players’ content or behaviour. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. See also the Disclaimer.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make important changes we will ask you to read and agree to the new version the next time you visit. If you keep using Blockyard after agreeing, the new Terms apply.
